1. Efficient digital design co-simulation using cocotb; Maciej Dudek, Antmicro

Co-simulation is a technique used to distribute complex simulation problems into multiple simpler simulation systems that interact with each other to achieve an overall goal.

Testbenches written in Verilog, SystemVerilog or VHDL are powerful as they can leverage language specific behaviour. However they are complex to create, are not portable between languages and can lead to confusion of the testing itself and the code which is tested.

In order to avoid those problems at Antmicro we decided to use the Cocotb co-simulation framework. One of its many advantages is the capability to use it for both - closed and open source simulators. We also expanded cocotb extension library with bus models for ARM AHB and SiFive opensource TileLink-UL

In the presentation we will help you gain an in-depth understanding of cocotb co-simulation as a powerful, portable and universal testing framework.

2. OAuth2 & OIDC. The ins and outs of (Internet’s favorite) passwordless authentication; Adam Olech, Antmicro

Resource access delegation and identity management can be daunting to get right, especially considering how often we find ourselves stitching together different APIs and services in our daily work. If you’re interested in understanding the ins and outs of the industry-standard authorization protocol and you want to get to know how to verify and exchange identity across many different providers and how to automate these tasks, this talk is for you!
