In the Krakow PCR department (Professional and Commercial Radio) we are developing and delivering software used for business and mission critical communications & workflows in MOTOTRBO systems and Safety Reimagined solution. Our solutions are omnipresent in a plethora of verticals important in everyday lives such as healthcare, public safety, transportation, logistics, education, hospitality, energy, manufacturing, retail and many others. Our team is following industry-standard and modern software development practices like continuous integration/continuous deployment, DevOps, component- and system-level automated testing. We use agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to organize our work ranging from cross-functional teams to portfolio management. As owners, we are responsible for end-to-end software development life-cycle, including: specification and design, implementation, testing, delivery and maintenance.Job Description
As a software engineer you will join a small agile team working on the backbone of the Mototrbo Motorola Communication Systems. You will have a chance to learn modern communication standards, design new features, implement them and help to test and deploy. This assignment is more than only software development. This is a journey through the world of real time systems, processing algorithms, implementation and integration of the software on the real hardware systems. You will face exciting challenges on both the programming and engineering levels that will test your creativity, determination and programming kung-fu.
Responsibilities include:

Designing, developing, testing and integrating software to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of elements of the telecommunication Infrastructure (mainly C++ 11)

Cooperating with other teams in our global organization

End-to-end responsibility for feature delivery
Basic Requirements
-
Good skills in software engineering
-
Good knowledge of C++ and C programming languages
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in writing software in C++

Demonstrated Linux system skills

University degree
-
Communicate with clarity and precision in English
Experience with the following would be an advantage

Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies or work experience in Scrum teams

Knowledge of Software Design Patterns

Knowledge of scripting languages

Know-how in re-engineering and refactoring

Experienced with GIT

Experience in software integration & verification

Basic knowledge of telecommunication technologies
