- Have at least 5 years of experience in the following areas: public cloud preferably AWS, private cloud and co-location, VMware, storage solutions
- Have at least 2 years in people management role
- Have AWS certification to the professional level
- Are master of Linux (Debian, RedHat/CentOS).
- Have solid understanding of how to configure, deploy, manage and maintain large systems; including auto-scaling, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting and disaster recovery
- Have hands on experience with Terraform, Ansible or other configuration management systems.
- Have deep understanding of fundamental technologies, such as: DNS, DHCP, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP
- Have strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)
- Have hands on experience with enterprise monitoring solutions such as Nimsoft, Nagios and suchlike
- Have good communication skills

- Providing line management, support and guidance to direct reports, ensuring that performance expectations and development needs are met
- Establishing and maintaining standard practices on specification, configuration and management of Linux based systems and solutions to support operation
- Providing outstanding support to key stakeholders within Engineering and Customer Support
- Troubleshooting performance, quality and availability issues
- Working with the Cloud Solution Architect to ensure high quality and consistent architecture documentation exists for all existing and new solutions
- Creating and maintaining service documentation to ensure that all computer operations procedures are up to date and reflect the current processing requirements
- Ensuring incidents are resolved within given SLA
- Supporting project initiatives. Assure appropriate projects resources.
- Ensuring correct configuration and operation of backup and disaster recovery procedures including data restore and actual recovery
- Troubleshooting performance, quality and availability issues
- Driving and maintaining automation and orchestration within existing processes and frameworks
- Ensuring that all systems and solutions are properly documented
