During this short workshop we'll dive into practical examples what Akka HTTP is and why it's so different from "just another http server" – namely, that streaming is built in in all layers of the server: from the TCP layer though the server itself to user-land exposed streaming facilities using Akka Streams. The key feature here is safety, back-pressure and all the opportunities this opens up. In our workshop we'll look at a number of streaming examples and how simple they are to implement in Akka HTTP.
