- Description: Documentation is one of the stepchildren of the software development process, and as we agree with the agile manifesto, that working software should come before comprehensive documentation, in most projects documentation is not only necessary, but project stakeholders, who are not developers, usually insist on human-readable documentation before they pay your bills. “My code is my documentation!” is not something that many IT-Managers like to hear. But even if you have the nicest documentation available, after a few change requests, documentation and reality tend to drift apart very rapidly. So why not generate documentation automatically in Confluence from Code, Tests and Configuration Management files that are created anyhow during CI/CD processes? NetworkedAssets started an open source project to address just this issue and the presentation will introduce the underlying concepts and demo the first modules which we are going to release at the End of February.
