"Improve resiliency and performance with controlled chaos engineering"
⇢ Abstract: While the benefits of distributed computing are undeniable and have revolutionized IT, they do have some challenges. Architectures have grown increasingly complex and can be hard to understand and difficult to debug and test. Chaos engineering is the process of stressing an application in testing or production environments by creating disruptive events, such as server outages or API throttling, observing how the system responds, and implementing improvements. In this session, we'll use chaos engineering to improve our sample application's resilience and performance, uncover hidden issues, expose blind spots, and more.

⇢ Abstract: Event-driven architectures come with many benefits. But in the end, the customer asks for a CSV report. An aggregated snapshot of all events. It turns out that AWS provides all the building blocks to turn any event stream into a CSV report. In this talk, you learn to combine SNS, Kinesis Firehose, S3, Step Functions, and Athena to generate CSV reports.
