Lessons from the Cloud: Serverless Wins and Challenges on AWS [EN]

This presentation shares insights from building a cloud-based version of an existing on-premise application using serverless architecture. A team of developers, mostly with .NET backend experience, successfully designed and deployed version 2 of the system on AWS, leveraging services like AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and more. Serverless enabled rapid development with minimal infrastructure concerns. Along the way, various challenges emerged, and different strategies were used to address them. This session highlights key lessons learned and how serverless played a crucial role in creating a scalable and efficient system—while significantly minimizing time to market.

Korzystamy z danych z Shodana a całość wdrażamy w AWS za pomocą Terraforma. Infrastruktura jest zoptymalizowana pod kątem darmowego działania w ramach AWS Free Tier.
