We believe the tech industry will greatly benefit from bringing more women into technology. We want to offer you the opportunity to learn the basics of programming in a safe environment. Who knows, maybe you'll even end up transitioning careers!
You don't need to know anything technical – our workshop is for women who are completely new to programming. It's a great non-confrontational introductory workshop.
Don't identify as a woman? That's ok! We accept applications from men as well. However, women will be given preference. There are only 60 spots available this time.

What is Django?
Django is a framework created in the programming language Python. This means that you don't need to write every line of code, you can just pull features from the already created chunks of code. It makes it easier to create apps because it saves you a lot of time and lines of code.
Who uses Python/Django?
- YouTube, Survey Monkey, DropBox, Google are all built using Python.
- Pinterest, Instagram, Spotify, Washington Post, NASA, Eventbrite are all built using Python & Django.
