GoWroc #36: About Time & Fault Tolerancy
Krzysztof Dryś: About Time! How much time take different operations?
Journey from reading from a map to fetching from google servers.
Tobiasz Heller: How to design a fault-tolerant system in the microservices world.
Networks failures, duplicated messages, failure of nodes - all of them can and will go wrong in a distributed system. Good system should be able to tolerate errors and be able to recover from failure.
In this talk, I will show how we can prepare to that both on infrastructure and application level.
➡️ Tobiasz - software developer with 5 years of experience. He started his career building hardware-in-the-loop systems using graphical language (LabVIEW), but recently he's switched to web development and Go.
➡️ Krzysztof - a software developer, with a passion for creating systems which work. He likes clean code, designing complex applications and working with people. For the last five years, he has been programming in Go.
