Krzysiek Dryś: Tales of Gopher's memory

Go 1.19 introduced GOMEMLIMIT, which gives you more control over how your application uses the memory. Let's use it as a chance to get to know Go's garbage collector a little better. I will explain GOGC flag, do a few benchmarks, allocate a lot of bytes (both on the stack and on the heap) and show you how you can benefit from setting GOMEMLIMIT in you containers.

Rafael Lopes: Working with gRPC and Go

A short introduction to working with gRPC and Go covering the basics and different kinds of requests.

Ingrid has been using gRPC and Go for a long time. Recently we migrated one of our service from “plain” gRPC to streaming requests. I will summarise the challenges that we faced.
