Description:

Introduction to Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and some DevOps tricks to maintain your project infrastructure from a developer perspective.

This time, we're stepping a bit outside of functional programming while still keeping developers' needs front and center. The idea for this session actually came from our own team at Scalac, and we thought it was worth sharing with a wider audience. We hope you'll find it valuable too, especially since more and more projects these days don't have enough dedicated DevOps support.

Full description of the talk:

Tired of getting blocked by the DevOps team every time you make a small request or change? In an organization where full-time DevOps support is lacking, and most tasks fall on the developers' shoulders, it can feel overwhelming. Whether you're looking to quickly spin up a PoC or need a small development environment for your application, it's time to get more involved in the entire process. Join us to explore the fundamentals of Infrastructure as Code. Discover how to deal with technological debt, deploy and maintain cloud services securely and reliably on your own.

About the speaker:

Dariusz is a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automating DevSecOps across the entire Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC). As part of the Scalac team, he supports clients on their journey to a secure and reliable cloud environment. Always looking at the bright side of things and excited to share his knowledge with others.
