Jetpack Compose - Declarative UI on Android
THIS IS A FREE EVENT - PLEASE FINISH YOUR RSVP IN THE LINK BELOW
At last year's Google I/O a new way to create UIs for Android was presented: Jetpack Compose. It was pre-alpha when announce and is still in heavy development - but it's going to be the future for Android UIs and it's high time to learn about it. If you come from the web, Flutter or from iOS, you most likely will find many familiarities to React, Flutters UI-toolkit or to SwiftUI.
In this presentation Wolfram Rittmeyer is talking about the background of Jetpack Compose and afterwards is going to create a simple two-page sample to show what already is possible and how to achieve results easily with Jetpack Compose.
