• Tomasz Ducin: Architectures of Asynchronous JavaScript(p.1/2) [EN]

This is the first out of two presentations that will discuss various ways to craft asynchronous JavaScript (part two in December '17). We'll start with fundamentals of asynchronicity model in JS, go through callbacks, promises, coroutines and finish with async await. There'll be many questions and/or discussions with the audience, so forget live streaming and join us in person :) 

Bio: Trainer, web applications architect, developer. Tomasz is experienced in both frontend and backend. Focused on solving technical and organisational project issues. He leads development teams, designs applications and, of course, codes.  Tomasz speaks at many events in Poland and Europe. He also co-organised few other conferences, and wrote technical blogs. Ex-theatre actor, probably addicted to coffee and surely addicted to music. 

• Kasia Bryda: JavaScript w świecie nowych mediów [PL]

Chcę opowiedzieć trochę o animacji w internecie, o tym jaką rolę pełni w nawiązywaniu relacji i dlaczego to jest ważne. Chciałabym pokazać kilka przykładów animacji oraz stron, na których ciekawie wykorzystano możliwości jakie daje ruch i interakcja.

This talk is about becoming a developer all over again. It goes into challenges that a beginner will face, but also discusses matters that affect experienced developers. This means getting into the not so rosy parts of career changes.
