Nasze kolejne spotkanie odbędzie się w środę 28. lipca w wersji online.

Spotkanie standardowo rozpoczniemy od godziny 18:00. Po około 15 minutach wprowadzenia rozpoczną się prezentacje. Spotkanie będzie transmitowane live z siedziby naszego sponsora Siili Auto i publikowane na naszych kanałach społecznościowych.

Przedstawiamy Wam tematy najbliższych prezentacji oraz prelegentów.

1. Filip Wasil - "premake - a CMake alternative"

Opis:

"During the presentation, he will cover the basics of premake5 build system and compare it to what we can safely consider an industry-standard in this case - CMake."

BIO:

Filip is an OpenGL trainer, C++ developer, and CMake enthusiast.

Spends his spare time writing c++ code and develop his Vulkan-based renderer.

2. Filip Sajdak - "Polymorphism in C++"

Opis:

"After my last presentation, there was a discussion about topics the Wro.cpp community would like to have covered. There was one question about polymorphism - more precisely what is a satisfactory answer to the interview question: "What is polymorphism?". That is a good question that might have interesting answers.

I will present the kinds of polymorphism available in C++. I will show what problem polymorphism help to solve and discuss some misunderstandings or errors that I see in the code."

BIO:

Enthusiast of C++. Learning and teaching modern standards and ways of benefit from them in your daily work. Conducts training/workshops where I teach how to do Test-Driven Development with C++. I like to create initiatives that give people a chance to learn modern technologies and techniques. Organizes Wro.cpp as is an advocate of sharing knowledge. For the last couple of years works as a manager trying to make the life of developers easier.
