The initiative „I am a woman in IT” is an action to promote activity of women in the IT sector. The purpose of those meetings is to show how interesting it is to work in IT, what opportunities for personal development there are and how rich is the professional life of IT specialists. Especially when they are women. A woman in IT keeps trying to develop not only in the area of programming and technology, but also values soft competencies. The initiative is supported by the Polish IT Association (PTI) represented by the Lesser Poland unit of PTI.
