Details about Speakers & Talks

  •  Łukasz Ożóg

In PMI since 2016, worked in several areas (PMO, DevOps, Cloud Engineering). DevOps oriented, focused on good practices and engineering excellence.

  •  Piotr Musiał

experienced technical manager with broad experience in managing and implementing DevOps toolchains. Currently, responsible for building and adopting DevOps practices at PMI. Prior to joining the PMI, he worked as an Application Manager for IBM.

Will speak about:

Aim of the presentation is to share how we manage standards and patterns within big scale IT organization. Is it challenging, or maybe a pretty straightforward task? What is the role of AWS in this journey? What would we change when starting it again today? How does it look in practice?

  •  Matheus Guimaraes

began his career over 20 years ago as junior video game programmer when C/C++ still ruled the world and HTML was an extra credit class. Much like the industry itself, his career evolved at pace over the years allowing him to be exposed to many different technologies and methodologies that all served to enrich his wide technical and field knowledge. Married to code and architecture, he maintained a hands-on approach throughout his journey from developer to CTO and everything else in between. Matheus remains very passionate about the role that technology plays in bridging the present with all the possibilities for our future.

Will speak about:

Let’s talk about patterns that are key to a successful adoption of microservice architecture. Explore how source control and build configuration can have a huge impact on a micro service's independence, understand the strangler pattern and finally take a deep dive into the world of transactions and learn more about the dramatically named saga pattern.
