Wardley mapping for Security workshop
- 17:00 - Registration
- 17:30 - Part One (theory) - We will have a look at the Strategy Cycle discussing each of its components, and the basics of Wardley mapping. You will also hear some wisdom by Sun Tzu. This will be an interactive session.
- 18:15 - Coffee break
- 18:30 - Part Two (practice) - The second, practical part of the workshop will consist of a discussion around strategic maps industries and its application in security, and sharing of insights when mapping, which will then lead to groups making their first Wardley map and (hopefully) sharing it with the community.

Hello OWASPers,
this time we have a special event dedicated to Wardley mapping, which will hugely benefit to current and future team leads, managers, directors and anyone who has to think strategically, and works in infosec industry. The session will be led by our invited guest Mario Platt.
Speaker's bio:
Mario has over 22 years of interest in security, and 18 professionally having had roles in Penetration testing, Product Management, Operations, Engineering, DevSecOps and Governance, Risk Management and Compliance. Working as Strategy Director for Hysn Tech/Practical DevSecOps and (almost) with a business degree, Mario's focus in the last few years has been on advising organisations with Security strategy and implementation, which Wardley mapping and Cynefin framework are two of the frameworks used for decision and sense-making.
