How to program Smart Contracts | #3 Aleph Zero + Ink
Join us for an exciting workshop to learn about the fundamental concepts of smart contracts, explore the capabilities of Aleph Zero, and dive into the Ink programming language designed for blockchain contract implementation.
No previous experience with smart contracts is required, and all skill levels are welcome!
Aleph Zero
Aleph Zero is a layer 1 privacy-enhancing blockchain that ensures scalability, low transaction fees, instant finality, and optimal security. It employs innovative technologies such as cryptographic proofs to ensure the integrity and immutability of the data stored on the blockchain. Aleph Zero offers a high-performance infrastructure for building various blockchain-based applications.
The workshop
We are going to present a fairly comprehensive tutorial, starting with basic blockchain concepts, then the core ideas behind smart contracts and their implementation in Ink! (also covering basics of Rust), and closing on best practices and common pitfalls.
The idea of this workshop is to be interesting to a whole range of audiences: attendees interested primarily in finance will have a chance to get to know a new and exciting take on the classic. Programmers will benefit by being exposed to the Rust language and good coding practices applicable in any language. Experienced blockchain developers will enjoy seeing an interesting alternative to Solidity and EVM chains.
