17:45 Networking

Let's grab a beer and catch up

18:00 Talks

Paweł Kowalak: AI Agents in Go

AI agents are a hot topic in 2025. Let’s explore how to implement them in Go without relying on heavy frameworks. We’ll discuss the core building blocks of AI agents, how to structure their reasoning and actions, and how Go’s concurrency model can be leveraged for efficient execution. Topics covered: defining agent workflows, handling memory and state, integrating with LLM APIs, and real-world use cases.

19:00 it's pizza time! And another chance to chat with your fellow gopher!

Krzysztof Dryś: What's new in Go?

The programming language that was supposed to "asymptotically approach boring" keeps getting new interesting (and sometimes controversial!) features. This talk will be an opinionated pick of the most interesting additions from the last two releases (1.24 and 1.23). Will Go be faster because of the new implementation of maps? Will it be too complex because of iterators? Will it be easier to track build tools thanks to the `go tool` directive? I don't have all the answers, but I will do some live coding and run some benchmarks.

20:00 Networking

Opis:

Hello Gophers!

We are happy to announce we are meeting once again at the beautiful (and renovated!) office of Xebia: a pioneering IT consultancy company.

This time we are talking about the hottest topics around: AI Agents and the latest features added to our beloved Go.

And one more thing, as usual, there will be beers and pizza!

Currently working on a spare time project DoubleTab to explore AI workflows and agents.

Krzysztof - I am a software developer with a mission to build systems that work. I like clean code, designing complex applications, and working with people.
