IS Service Design Coordination Specialist

As an IS Service Design Coordination Specialist your main role will be to ensure consistent and effective design and launch of new and changed IT services across IS. You will work with various stakeholders to ensure that customers’ needs are transformed into optimized, efficient, value-driven and consumer-friendly IS Service Offerings.This position reports to:
IS Department Manager SVC Cat & DAT Mgt.Your responsibilities:
- Ensures the definition of consistent and transparent end-to-end services to the business
- Identifies, evaluates and recommends options to be implemented for new and changed IS services and their onboarding to ServiceNow, including ensuring that they are designed according to the relevant governance and documented accordingly
- Collaborates with all stakeholders along the value chain (Service Owners, Solution Architects, Transition Managers, Demand Management, IS Service Performance Excellence, Consumer Experience) in order to ensure flawless process execution
- Supports process reporting, including report set-up, interpretation of statistics and data analysis, leading to proposing and implementing improvement activities
- Supports the Service Catalog team in the management of existing service data in ServiceNow and service documentation (Service Design Package)
- Provides leadership to temporary work teams, guiding and monitoring task completion, sharing expert knowledge and advice normally without carrying line responsibility
Your background:
- 3+ years of experience in service management, service taxonomy, service design and/or service modelling
- Knowledge of Service Design including related techniques of design thinking
- Knowledge of ITSM/ ITIL v3/v4 and SIAM; ITIL 4 Foundation certified preferred
- 3+ years of experience of ServiceNow (service management tool) will be preferred
- Ability to transform business requests into service offerings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with high attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy
