Your responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy software solutions dedicated to condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of ABB Motion products
- Follow best software development practices to ensure high quality product and great user experience
- Propose new means and methods towards analytics-related services for rotating machines and drives
- Work in a global team, share knowledge and experience with other team members
- Determines effective applications, equipment and methods to develop new software to respond to customer requirements in cyber security.
Your background
- BSc, MSc, (PhD is a plus) degree in Computer Science or equivalent, 3+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably for data science applications
- Team player - capacity and willingness to guide and mentor software developers
- Experience and knowledge about cyber security concepts and implementations
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming and design patterns, understanding the difference between a bad and a good software architecture, good knowledge of software and application design and architecture as a plus
- Professional experience with data engineering and software deployment tools (git, CI/CD, docker)
- Experience with Python and preferably experience with web development (REST API, basic front-end development)
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Experience with Azure cloud-based solutions will be a strong advantage
