Senior DevOps Engineer

MUGCO is a Silicon Valley team development company, and we are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a mature US project in the digital advertising domain.

Pay scales: $6000-$7000

ABOUT THE PROJECT: We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a mature US project in the digital advertising domain. Every day the industry’s leading brands, agencies, and publishers trust our AI-powered semantic analysis engine to provide a holistic understanding of page content, meaning, and sentiment. As a developer, you will take part in the design and development of the next generation of digital advertisement ecosystem which analyzes and classifies huge amounts of data every day. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Work closely with engineering and DevOps teams to design, implement, deploy, and configuration management of our various production • Operate, monitor, and maintain Linux systems and services • Responsive for Data Center, Cloud and CDN operations and administration • Deploy and maintain software across multiple data centers • Automation and scripting for deployment procedures • Identify, troubleshoot, and respond to faults of complex systems in a large-scale production environment REQUIREMENTS: • Experience with on-premise and cloud application deployment on AWS • Manage CI/CD tools (Jenkins Pipeline) with teams • Version Control: Git • At least 4 years of Linux experience • Virtualization systems • Experience with Kubernetes (on Premises and Cloud), Docker • Configuration management experience with tools like Puppet, Ansible, Chef • Deployment automation/orchestration — Foreman, Cobbler, Ansible • Troubleshooting experience in complex production environments Will be an advantage, but not necessary to have experience with Linux OS - CentOS, RedHat, Big Data systems- Scylla DB, Elasticsearch and Couchbase, monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana, Graphite, Prometheus, VMWare vSphere, and vCenter experience, Cloud Infrastructure like AWS, Azure, GCP, understanding of the Internet backbone networking and familiarity with CDN vendors, knowledge in Apache/Apache traffic server/HAProxy.
