Your role:

We’re looking for a Azure Databricks engineer:

• have the ability to work in a function and technical capacity and analyse business requirements and make recommendations for solutions that will add value to stakeholders
• has the relevant experience of designing the data lake solution - to validate the design approach, prepare POCs to showcase the capabilities and work with architectures to get it approved for delivery
• design, develop, test the HR data lake solution which can support the HR data distribution and integration
• effectively communicate and drive project deliverables
• work with SaaS vendors/in-house functional solutions
• providing technical & functional expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications
• participate in application architecture and design and other phases of Software Development life cycle
• see that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented to process move from test to production

You’ll be working in the HRIT team in Poland and we provide a global collaborative community. As an IT developer, you’ll play an important role in working with your whole team on timely delivery of HRIT projects. You may also be a scrum master.

Your expertise:

• prior experience of designing large data distribution, integration with service oriented architecture and/or data warehouse solutions
• designed and delivered Data Lake solution using Azure Databricks with large and multi-format data
• any line management, team mentoring experience will be a bonus
• demonsrated ability to work using Agile methodology and helping teams to deliver a quality software
• know-how to apply standards, methods, techniques and templates as defined by our SDLC
• produce secure and clean code that is stable, operational, consistent and well-performing
• bachelor’s/master’s degree or equivalent work experience with a focus in HRIT applications/solutions
• ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation on user requirements into technical specifications
• effective analytical, leadership and communication skills
• has good understanding on Azure storage Gen2
• hands on experience with Azure stack (minimum 5 years)
• Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps
• proficient coding experience using Spark(Scala/Python), T-SQL
• uderstanding around the services related to Azure Analytics, Azure SQL, Azure function app, logic app
• prior ETL development experience using industry tool e.g. informatica/SSIS/Talend etc.
• good to have knowledge in Kafka streaming Azure Infrastructure
