JDD 2021 In this talk Madhubanti and Krystian will show you how to create resilient Java applications that will survive all failure scenarios, from the loss of a single application instance to a disaster affecting an entire region. They will demonstrate the initial set-up, correct choices, and explain challenges you may face throughout delivery and operation in production. They will start off by briefly describing basics of business continuity such as RTO, RLO, RPO, CAP and read replicas. In the main part of the presentation, they will focus on work that needs to be done in Java applications and cloud services to provide highest availability. You will be left with a ready solution for most common issues and understand choices that you will have to make during your own solution design process.
