Upgrading Java in production - a Revolut story

JDD 2021 Hear about our experience upgrading Java 8 to 11. As with all JDK upgrades, this doesn't happen overnight. What went well, what didn't, and show which features got traction.Expect a real life report covering the doubts we had, some pain points and gains, as well as surprises that surprised us. We'll discuss tools, alternative JVM languages, and some 3rd party products. We will finish looking at JDK17, which features we have huge hopes for, and why we will adopt it quickly.
