#7 Advanced features of Scala CLI & Infrastructure with Scala
Cześć! W październiku odbędzie się już siódme spotkanie Wroclaw Scala User Group. We wtorek, 17. października, widzimy się znów w Pubie Wędrówki. Tym razem wracamy do formatu dwóch prezentacji, ale w tym wypadku będą one pełne przykładów i pomysłów do czego jeszcze może wam się przydać Scala, ale jeszcze o tym nie wiecie.

‘Advanced features of Scala CLI and their real-life adoption’ - Maciej Gajek
At the end of last year, VirtusLab officially presented Scala CLI as the successor of the old Scala runner. While the transition is almost over it's time to leave the comfort zone, apply the `--power` flag, and see the advanced features as well as their community adoption.
‘Hands on Besom: Infrastructure with Scala’ - Łukasz Biały
Functional languages offer potent, expressive tools for managing infrastructural complexity, contrasting with the current declarative, yet suboptimal solutions dominating the infrastructure as code problem space. In my talk I will show you - hands on - how to use Scala to declare your cloud infra in a safe and robust way. Some live coding will be performed, clouds and feelings for YAML might be harmed.
