During this session we will take together our first steps in the world of Functional Programming and strive to answer the following questions:

• What is Functional Programming, and how does it differ from other programming paradigms?
• When and how to use it?
• Is it ultimately worth investing time to learn it?

At the end of the session you will have enough knowledge and pointers to embark on your own Functional Programming journey, should you want it!

No prior knowledge of Functional Programming is required. Anyone with basics in programming is welcome to join in.
