OWASP meeting in Wroclaw #8

glad to invite you to the 8th edition of OWASP meetups in Wroclaw! This time it will be hosted in Opera Software. Program for this time:
- Dani Ramirez - "IPMI Appsec - express train to hell"
During the talk we will discuss what is exactly the Platform Interface which provide an Out-of-Band channel to administrate remotely the servers, then how we can find those platforms that are exposed on the internet, we’ll show some attacks vectors for it and in the end how it’s possible to mitigate some of those vulnerabilities.
- Wojciech Podgorski - "TLS all the things!"
According to SSL Pulse almost 60.000, i.e. 44% of Alexa's list of the most popular sites in the world have inadequate security. Deployment and configuration of TLS can be confusing but it is far from being rocket science. Throughout the talk we will discuss the rational behind using TLS and look under the hood to explain the protocol internals. Afterwards, we will demonstrate how to deploy and configure TLS step-by-step, in a modern, robust and secure manner during live coding session.
