Proggy-Buggy Towel Contest 2025

Whether you’ve competed in programming contests before or just joined one of our IT events — we’ve got something fun (and a little geeky) for you.

DataArt invites you to take part in the Proggy-Buggy Towel Contest on May 25, 2025. It’s just 42 minutes long, packed with algorithmic puzzles, and open to anyone who wants to code for fun (and maybe glory).

You’ll get 13 algorithmic problems — some are easy, others will make your brain hurt (in a good way). You can code in any language you like, from anywhere.

New to coding contests? Don’t worry — we’ve got training problems from past years to get you started.

Here’s what’s waiting for you:

• Solo play: it’s just you, your laptop, and your towel
• Problems from easy to “what-was-that”
• Warm-up tasks for first-timers
• Any programming language is welcome
• Certificates for all participants and winners
• Prizes for winners and for the most persistent coders
