Security Systems is a critical area within Sabre, providing Identity and Access Management (IAM) services to Sabre customers.  We maintain several applications, new and existing, that provide IAM services to Sabre applications used by external clients like Travel Agencies, OTA’s, hotels, cruise lines, airlines and railways etc. providing high availability and high reliability services to other teams in Sabre. In our day-to-day operations, we use variety of technologies including Open Source frameworks, JMS queues and web services to name a few.  If you are interested in automated testing of backend, high availability systems and working with friendly and interesting co-workers – this team is a place to be. Software QA Engineer in Security Systems Team will be responsible for:

• Creating and maintaining feature/functional tests and system tests driven by business requirements
• Design, code, document and maintain automated tests (including regression tests)
• Analyzing tests results to ensure existing and new functionality works as designed
• Working with development teams to understand and resolve system issues
• Working with development teams to implement test coverage of new application functionality

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent
• Hands on experience with general test automation approach
• Working experience with Java, Groovy, and Spock
• Very good team working skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Additional preferred Skills

• Experience in JUnit/Unit Testing/Mockito
• Webservice applications testing experience
• Experience with Unix Systems
• Experience in testing high-volume, highly scalable systems
• Test automation
• Demonstrates initiative
