We are looking for a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer with strong practical experience of building test harnesses and automated tests to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- building upon unit tests provided by the developers to ensure strong automated functional and integration coverage of new features
- ensuring up to date automated regression coverage for existing features
- cooperating with the product team to ensure end-to-end functionality meets initial expectations before a new feature is shipped
- maintaining a high level of conduct, ethical standards and values
- maintaining an appropriate level of competence through ongoing training, making requests for updates or development as required
- taking an active role in the entire sprint process from estimation and design to feature rollout
- working with other members of the team of all disciplines, BA, DEV and other QA engineers
Requirements
- demonstrable practical experience of automation testing
- practice with SQL/T-SQL, MS Visual Studio and TFS
- understanding of HTTP and client-server architecture
- understanding of XML and JSON
- strong problem-solving skills
- attention to details
- outstanding communication and collaboration skills
- understanding of payments processing systems and ideally experience with other financial products
