Tech Talk #4 Protect your code - keep it clean and avoid unwantedusage
Hi All!
We would like to invite you for the first Tech Talk after the holiday break! This time we will be talking about code protection. During the event, you will get to know how to keep your code clean and avoid unwanted usage. You will also have a chance to share your ideas with other IT enthusiasts during the networking session.
Let’s check the details below:
1st Speaker: Michał Pletty
Title:
The intended yet unwanted C++ use cases
Overview:
I intend to present a few tricks like for instance pattern matching with example parser and state machine implementation. I hope I can provide some insight into how general purpose languages might look in the upcoming decade and how the stuff nightmares are made of (namely templates) can optimistically turn into the selling point of C++.
About Michał:
The author is eternally cursed to see each and every piece of software as a special case of some vague general principle. Five years of work as a developer, some in Java, rest in C++. Detests stagnation, enjoys challenge. Always looks for a project worth his time and passion.
2nd Speaker: Andrii Beregovenko
Title:
Code quality: does it really matter?
Overview:
The code quality is quite known buzzword at this moment. What does it mean? Is it important? What is a benefit of the improved code quality? Is it something I should do? Let's try to figure it out.
About Andrii:
Developer, coder, problem solver, open-source activist.
We are waiting for you on Thursday, 10th October 2019 at 6 PM at GlobalLogic office, which is located in Kraków, Puszkarska 7k, 5th floor.
See you there!
