Embedded Software Engineer (4G/5G protocols)

Requirements

• Quite an obvious thing - we are looking for someone with strong experience in programming of embedded systems
• You need to know C language as if it was your native language
• Knowledge of telecommunication technologies: GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5G is mandatory
• Knowledge of data transmission protocols (TCP, UDP, IP and related)
• Understanding of signaling on the radio interface
• Good English proficiency - you need to be able to communicate with the client and international team
• Last but not least - knowledge of software tools supporting the software development process: GIT, Jira, Wireshark, optionally ClearCase, ClearQuest

Nice to have

• Knowledge of 3GPP2 and C++ knowledge would be an additional advantage - just like the icing on the cake!

Responsibilities

• You will create firmware for industrial wireless telecommunication devices used by thousands of people all around the world!
• But first, we need your analytical skills to go through all the requirements and design the best solution
• During the whole process, we count on your accuracy and focus on quality to ensure all solutions are created in accordance with technical standards and after that support pre-approval and approval sessions in certification labs
• Remember that you will have an experienced team of developers, testers and project managers to cooperate
