Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in development with use of J2EE/Java, JavaScript, HTML, Spring, Hibernate, Spring MVC, JQuery
- Understanding and practical usage of MVC Architecture
- Developing web applications using Ajax
- Hands-on experience with legacy code maintenance (JSP/Servlets/JavaScript/JDBC)
- Working with databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and good knowledge of SQL
- Understanding of Design Patterns and Enterprise Design Patterns
- Knowledge or use of an IDE, such as Eclipse or IDEA
- Intermediate English (read/write/speak)
Responsibilities
- Researching, designing, developing and modifying enterprise-wide systems or applications software
- Designing applications functionality
- Writing and executing unit tests cases for the developed functionalities
- Developing new features on a legacy and new code base
- Collaborating with customer’s engineers and team in Kharkov and USA (Portsmouth mainly)
- Planning future’s scope/releases based on a team’s expertise
- Working with new features development and improvements
- Bug fixing
- Participating in a daily Scrum meeting
